Hi! I’m Isabella Guajardo, a high school student and co-founder of DHM For All. I’ve always believed that meaningful change starts with being willing to take initiative, stay consistent, and keep going even when things don’t work out exactly as planned. That mindset has shaped much of my work with DHM For All and the way I approach serving my community.

What began as a student-led project has grown into an initiative reaching communities both in and beyond San Antonio. As a co-founder, I’ve helped lead community outreach, coordinate oral care kit distributions, develop educational resources, and build partnerships with schools and community organizations. Our work has included providing hundreds of oral care kits to children and families, supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, supplying students with both general and orthodontic care resources, and creating opportunities for young people in other communities to lead DHM For All initiatives of their own.

One of my favorite parts of DHM For All has been seeing an idea turn into something tangible. Whether that means preparing supplies for a community event, connecting with an organization that needs resources, developing a new project, or finding ways to expand our reach, I’ve learned that impact is often built through the small decisions and efforts that happen behind the scenes.

Outside of DHM For All, I stay involved in service and leadership through National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Student Council, volunteering, tutoring, and experiences in public service. Each of these has helped shape how I communicate with others, take responsibility for the work I care about, and find new ways to contribute to my community.

For me, DHM For All is about more than raising awareness about oral health. It’s about turning awareness into action by helping people access the resources, education, and support they need to care for their oral health with confidence. I’m proud of how far our work has
