Youth Education and Leadership Development
To spread the word about Dental Fun Fest, we set up an outreach table at the local library! We connected with families, shared our mission, and encouraged sign-ups for our upcoming event to promote youth education. With colorful displays, free dental goodies, and friendly conversations, we made learning about oral health fun and accessible for everyone who stopped by. Alongside community engagement, DHM co-founders Eesha Matharasi and Isabella Guajardo mentor DHM chapter leaders to expand our impact beyond Texas. So far, our co-founders have guided two chapter leaders through establishing a Minnesota and a Maryland chapter.
We held an exciting pop-up event at the local library to promote our Dental Fun Fest program, and it turned out to be a big success. Our table was set up with fun games, colorful decorations, and lots of prizes that attracted both kids and parents. As families stopped by to play and learn more about our organization, we had great conversations about dental health and the importance of starting good habits early. We were thrilled to see so much interest in promoting youth education, with many people signing up for the program on the spot.
DHM For All chapters empower students to make a difference in their communities by promoting oral health education and expanding access to essential hygiene supplies. Chapter members organize dental hygiene drives, distribute care kits, host educational activities, fundraise, and partner with local schools and community organizations to support individuals and families in need. Through these initiatives, chapters work to reduce dental poverty, encourage healthy habits, and bring DHM For All’s mission to communities across the country.
