Every Dollar Donated Goes Towards Funding Numerous Programs Such As:
1. Dental Fun Fest
Your donation helps fund our signature Dental Fun Fest program—a fun, engaging event designed to educate children about the importance of oral hygiene. Donations cover educational dental materials, supplies for games and interactive activities, and decorations to ensure every child has a positive, memorable experience while learning to care for their smile.
2. Dental Hygiene Kits for Shelters
We distribute essential dental hygiene kits to families and individuals living in shelters or transitional housing. These kits include toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and other hygiene essentials to promote health, confidence, and dignity for those experiencing hardship.
3. Financial Assistance for Families in Need
Your donation will help families who are struggling to make ends meet and cannot afford dental care on their own. We understand that dental care is not a luxury—it’s a basic human need that many simply cannot access. In the United States alone, over 60 million adults are unable to afford dental care, and that number continues to grow.
At DHM, we are committed to changing that. As our mission expands, we promise to help as many families as possible by providing financial assistance funded through your generous donations. Whether it's covering the cost of dental essentials, emergency needs, or supporting families at risk, every contribution brings us closer to drastically reducing dental poverty and ensuring more people can smile with confidence.
4. Supplies for Schools, Libraries, and Community Centers
We work with schools, libraries, and community spaces to provide free dental hygiene resources, educational materials, and basic supplies. Your support helps ensure that more children and families have access to the tools they need to build healthy habits—right where they live, learn, and gather.
5. Sponsorship of Children in Critical Need
Donors can choose to direct their contribution toward sponsoring a child who lacks access to dental care and basic hygiene essentials. Sponsored children receive customized shipments of dental products, hygiene items, clothing, books, and, in urgent cases, financial assistance.
As a sponsor, you’ll also receive personal updates on your impact, including letters or drawings from the child you’re supporting, so you can see the difference you’re making in their life.
Please Note: If you would like your donation to go specifically toward sponsoring a child, please contact us directly. This allows us to either prioritize the children with the greatest need or help you select a specific child to support.
