Dental Fun Fest

It is one of DHM’s signature outreach programs—designed to make learning about oral hygiene fun, hands-on, and accessible for kids. Hosted in local libraries and community centers, this interactive event combines education with creativity through engaging activities like dental-themed games, storytelling, arts and crafts, and hygiene demonstrations.

At each event, children receive free dental care kits and learn how to care for their smiles in a way that's simple, memorable, and empowering. Dental Fun Fest helps reduce fear and stigma around oral care while promoting healthy habits in a supportive, playful environment.

By bringing Dental Fun Fest to underserved communities, we’re not just teaching kids how to brush and floss—we’re helping them build confidence and lifelong habits for better health.

First Annual Halloween Event

Each year, DHM hosts a fun and spooky Halloween-themed event to bring smiles and spread dental awareness in our community! With costumes, games, treats, and free dental hygiene kits, it’s a perfect mix of celebration and education. We aim to make healthy habits exciting!

Presenting at SaMi Pi Celebration

We had the incredible opportunity to speak at a SAMI (San Antonio Math Include) event to raise awareness about dental poverty. By sharing real stories and facts, we helped shine a light on how limited access to dental care impacts underserved communities—and how small acts, like education and hygiene kit distribution, can make a big difference.

Community Outreach at the library

To spread the word about Dental Fun Fest, we set up an outreach table at the local library! We connected with families, shared our mission, and encouraged sign-ups for our upcoming event. With colorful displays, free dental goodies, and friendly conversations, we made learning about oral health fun and accessible for everyone who stopped by.

Mentoring chapter leader of DHM Mn

We’re proud to be mentoring the incredible chapter leader of DHM Minnesota as she builds a strong foundation in her community! Through regular check-ins, shared resources, and hands-on guidance, we’re working together to grow DHM’s impact beyond Texas—one chapter, one smile at a time.

Partnership with Preva Dental

We’re grateful to collaborate with Preva Dental, a dedicated partner in promoting oral health. Together, we’ve hosted impactful community events—like our Halloween celebration—where families received free dental hygiene kits and education. Their support has helped us reach more smiles and expand our mission to fight dental poverty.

Donating Oral Hygiene Supply Kits

As part of our mission to fight dental poverty, we regularly donate dental hygiene kits to underserved communities. Each kit includes essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and educational materials. These small packages make a big impact—empowering families to take charge of their oral health and build lasting habits.
